Founded in 2016, the start-up company Luftmeister GmbH has developed into a nationwide “efficiency partner” operating throughout Germany. Founder and Managing Director Jens Amberg, whose patented inventions form the foundation of the company’s success, looks back proudly on its development. In 2019, Luftmeister won the Baden-Württemberg Environmental Technology Award, followed by the City of Freiburg Innovation Award in 2021.
Luftmeister supports industry in achieving energy and CO₂ savings. This is done by optimizing ventilation and air-handling systems based on precise measurement solutions. In addition, waste heat flows in air and flue gas are recorded to ensure that heat recovery is based on reliable measurement data.
Last but not least, the Luftenergiezähler (air energy meter) marked the creation of the world’s first consumption meter for conditioned air, supported by its own DIN and VDI standards as well as official calibration approval for Luftmeister.
On Friday, February 20, the Luftmeister team will celebrate the anniversary together with invited guests at its headquarters in Kirchzarten, where the company operates, among other facilities, a large calibration laboratory for air volume flow. Luftmeister looks to the future with confidence, as investment in efficiency and savings is more important than ever, especially in times of crisis.
